Getting there from the Golden Triangle
Houston Bush (IAH) and Hobby (HOU) both fly nonstop to Orlando (MCO). Bush is closer for most of Beaumont and points north; Hobby is often the better value and easier for Mid County. When to go
The lowest crowds usually fall in late January through early February, late August through September, and the weeks between Thanksgiving and mid-December. Spring break and summer are busiest. Richelle will line up the crowd calendar with your school district's breaks.
How far ahead to book
Book the resort first. Dining reservations open 60 days before check-in, so a room booked early gives Richelle the best shot at character meals and popular restaurants. Six months out is comfortable; a year is better for holiday trips.
